WHITE TAKES FINAL INTRASQUAD TILT

Team white scored a measure of redemption on Saturday.

Coached by Sheldon Bank, the White squad earned a 7-2 victory over Black in the final intrasquad game of Warriors training camp.
White’s top line of Matt Anholt, Liam Blackburn, and David Pope led the attack, amassing 6 goals and 14 points among them.  The rookie Blackburn was particularly impressive, notching a pair of goals as well as two assists and looking very comfortable playing amongst other top-line veterans.

West Kelowna now gets to crank up the intensity with a pair of exhibition matchups against Penticton.  The Vees visit Royal LePage Place on Sunday (7pm, admission is 5$ or free for season ticket holders) before hosting the Warriors at the SOEC on Monday (7pm).

Fans are also encouraged to visit Ultimate Hockey and Skate on Sunday (Aug. 25th, 9:30 am) as former Warriors Max French and Justin Schultz present cheques for more than $6,000 to the West Kelowna Minor Hockey Association and Kidsport.
