Summer High-Performance Training Program

“College/Junior Hockey Development”

The West Kelowna Warriors Coaches and Strength Trainers assemble four highly competitive groups of dedicated hockey players that participate in a 10-week or 8-week Summer high-performance training program, experiencing the core components of development, ice, training, and coaching. Our coaches identify the first steps in athletes becoming elite, with up to date development models that are proven to get players ready for the upcoming season. Every summer we are proud to help train professional hockey players, NCAA and WHL players, multiple Junior A players, along with U18 and U16 youth athletes.

 

Program Overview:

Dates: June 20th to August 26th

Our full program consists of 24 hours on-ice and 40 hours off-ice Strength & Power training with our high-performance coaches and other skill specific coaches that have experience at the Junior and Pro level.

Groups:

  • Junior/College - 99-04
  • U18 - 05-07
  • U15 - 08-09
  • U13 - 10-11

Location: West Kelowna, BC

Schedule:

  • Tue/Thur/Fri - Strength Training
  • Tue/Thur - Ice sessions (August increases to 3 skates per week)
