Chris joined the Warriors as President in November 2019, under the new ownership regime of John Murphy and Rod Hume.
Chris was raised in West Kelowna before attending the University of Alberta, where he obtained a Bachelors degree in Sports Management. Chris then went on to complete an internship with the Vancouver Canucks and was the first hire of the Westside Warriors as Marketing Director in the inaugural season of 2006. He was with the Warriors for the first two seasons before moving on to other organizations, including launching the Abbotsford Heat of the AHL. Following a season as Corporate Sales Manager with the Heat, Chris moved to Texas in 2010 to become the General Manager of the expansion Amarillo Bulls of the North American Hockey League. With the Bulls, some of the organizational accomplishments include NAHL Organization of the Year in year two and a National Championship in year three. In 2013, Chris elected to move back to the Okanagan to be closer to family and pursue other business interests. Chris is thrilled to be back in his hometown with the Warriors and looks forward to building on the 2016 winning tradition!
Director of Broadcasting/Media Relations – Chase Johnston
Chase is in his third season as the Director of Media Relations & Broadcasting for the Warriors. Originally from the Fraser Valley in the small town of Mission, Chase began his career with the Prince George Cougars and 94.3 the Goat in Northern BC back in the Summer of 2014. Then was accepted into the BCIT Radio Arts & Entertainment Program in 2016. That is where Chase began his play by play career in the BC Major Midget League with the Valley West Hawks and Fraser Valley Thunderbirds. After graduating BCIT in 2017-18, Chase moved to the Okanagan where he would work with Sun FM and EZ Rock and would be the in stand voice of the Penticton Vees. In August 2018, Chase would accept the a position with the Warriors and has never looked back. Currently Chase calls Kelowna home and works full time in Digital Marketing sales with Agency Media Monday to Friday.

Office Manager – Amy Kruger
Amy was raised in West Kelowna. Her and her family have been a part of the Warriors community for quite some time. She has two children, Kingston and Jackson that play minor hockey as well as volunteer on the Warriors ice crew. She is excited to be a part of the team.
Corporate Partnerships – Tyler Moore
Tyler’s business acumen spans throughout the corporate sector within the hockey industry, proving successful in his past organizations. He was instrumental in launching community initiatives with U18 Prep Programs and most recently growing a reputable brand for the Revelstoke Grizzlies. He has deep roots within the Okanagan community spending time connecting with the people, gaining an understanding of what to appreciate. His strong relationships and network expand throughout the community and he has become a reliable trustworthy resource when building relationships for the organization. Tyler is responsible for day-to-day sales operations, product marketing, additional programming, and hockey operations player identification.
Tyler proudly resides in West Kelowna with his young family, committed to the long-term development of the Warriors organization.
Grace has grown up in West Kelowna moving here in second grade. She is currently in her 3rd season with the West Kelowna Warriors and her 2nd season as the teams Community Liaison. Grace is currently attending the University of British Columbia Okanagan Campus in the Human Kinetics program and hopes to move on into a career of Athletic Therapy. With these career aspirations Grace currently stands as the trainer for the West Kelowna Midget Tier 2 hockey team. On top of all her studies and work with our team she also plays Ringette competitively for a team in Kelowna, representing Team BC at the Western Canadian Ringette Championships in 2018.Grace is extremely excited to continue her work with the Warriors and continue to keep the team involved throughout the community of West Kelowna.
