BCSHL Warriors Covers
SKILL ENHANCEMENT – Skill is imperative in today’s modern fast-paced game. The BCSHL Warriors program creates professional-level drills to enhance each player’s skill set, by creating game-like simulations and fundamentals that need to be taught.
IQ – Hockey IQ is one of the most critical parts of a young player’s game. The BCSHL Warriors Staff will isolate specific weaknesses in a player’s game and provide the proper techniques, movements and thought processes that are needed in order to make the jump to the next level.
SAFETY – Keeping players healthy and on the ice is the main objective of the BCSHL Warriors. The Coaching staff will teach players how to execute drills at the highest pace, while doing it the safest way possible, providing safer ways to escape from a hit and make a play. Adding longevity to each player’s career as well as eliminating future issues with a young player’s body.
COMPETE LEVEL – The BCSHL Warriors will determine how much a player wants to get to the next level. Great skating and impressive puck skills are great. But what scouts and coaches are looking for is how badly you want it. The saying “ Hard work beats talent when talent doesn’t work” is more relevant than ever. The BCSHL Warriors are going to develop players to compete on both sides of the puck and how to work smarter not harder.
PROFESSIONALISM – Learning how to be a professional hockey player and how to play at the next level. Skills and development are essential but morphing our next generation to be respectful, responsible, and valued members of our society are our most important goals.
