Warriors Re-organize Team Personnel

The Westside Warriors announce today the changing of team personnel.  Current team General Manager, Mark Cheyne will be leaving the Warriors front office for a more advisory role with the hockey club.  Head Coach, Mark Howell, will now assume the role as the team?s General Manager, as well as being the team?s Head Coach.  Howell has proven to be a deserving leader of the Warriors organization and is a great fit to take on the additional responsibilities of GM.  Mark will now become more active in the day to day operations of the business side of the organization, while still maintaining full responsibility of all player personnel decisions.

To fill the void left by the absence of Mark Cheyne the Warriors would like to announce the hiring of Aaron Berman, a former BCHL and NCAA graduate, who will assume the role of Director of Business Operations for the Warriors.  Berman is also the Sales and Marketing Manager for the Warriors? parent company, Vision Sports Group, LLP.

On behalf of the Vision Sports Group, the now former Warriors GM Mark Cheyne will act as the President of the Warriors hockey club with Vision Sports Group co-owner, Gary Berman acting as the team?s Vice-President.  With this key shuffle of responsibilities and acquisition of business knowledge Vision Sports Group and the Westside Warriors are excited about the growth potential of the franchise.
