Warriors Weekend Preview – Oct. 23rd – 26th

Your Warriors Week of Games includes two home games and 1 away game with three games in three nights.  The first game is on Thursday, October 23rd vs. the Quesnel Millionaires for a 7pm start at the Royal LePage Place.  The Warriors overall record vs. Quesnel so far this year is 2-1. Last weekend the Warriors fell short only winning 1 of 2 games, winning last Saturday 7-5 and losing on Sunday night 1-3.

Upcoming Games / Players to Watch:

Quesnel is led in goal production by #16 Trevor Hertz with 12 goals out of his overall 22 points.  Quesnel currently sits in 7th place in the Interior Conference with a record of 5-11-0-2.  Even though the Warriors fell short last week on the Sunday night game, be sure to watch two of the teams rookies to come out of the gate early as #26 Tyler Krause accounted his first BCHL point last Saturday night and then added another 3 assists to finish the night off with 4 points, and #25 Brett Lyon notched his first BCHL point last Saturday with a goal and only to be followed by another goal to finish the night off with 2 goals.

On Friday, October 24th the Warriors travel to Vernon for a 7pm drop of the puck at the Wesbild Arena.  Westside? overall record this year versus the Vernon Vipers is 0-3.  Vernon is currently in 2nd place in the Interior Conference with a record of 10-4-1-2.  The Vipers are lead by #14 Braden Pimm with the teams most goals at 9 out of his 16 points.  Between the pipes for the Vipers will most likely be Andrew Hammond with a record of 10-5-1, which includes a 2.43 GAA.

The final weekend game is back at the Warriors battle field, Royal LePage Place, for a 7pm start versus the Trail Smoke Eaters.  The Smoke Eaters are currently sitting in 3rd place in the Interior Conference with a 10-4-1-1 record.  The Warriors last meet Trail back on September 13th beating the 3rd place team 4-2 on the road in Trail.  So the two teams have only met once and you can only expect the Warriors are ready to roll out another home town win to complete the weekend.

Tickets for the Thursday and Saturday Home Games can be purchased at the Warriors Main Office.
