RECAP: WARRIORS OUTLAST VEES SATURDAY NIGHT

WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors come out flying Saturday night defeating the Penticton Vees by a score of 5-2.

The Warriors got off to a great start with Elan Bar Lev Wise scoring his 13th of the year making it 1-0. The Vees would score a pair to take a 2-1 lead after one period of play with goals from Grayson Arnott and Fin Williams.

John Evans would open the scoring in the second period after Charles Alexis Legault fired a shot which pinballed off of John Evans and a couple Vees defenders and in to tie the game up at 2 only 1:44 into the second frame.

The Warriors would dial it in the rest of the game both offensively and defensively. First after Tyler Cristall launched the puck in the air Brennan Nelson would take off, drive the net and score to take a 3-2 lead. The Warriors would finish the game killing off 3 powerplay attempts and adding a pair of empty net goals from Legault and Felix Trudeau to eventually win 5-2.
