WEST KELOWNA B.C – The West Kelowna Warriors hope to extend their winning streak Saturday night versus the Surrey Eagles.

EAGLES VS WARRIORS REGULAR SEASON SCHEDULE:

Sat Nov 10th  @ West Kelowna    7pm

Wed Jan 30th @ Surrey                7pm

The Warriors are well rested after a five day break and will push for their eighth straight victory. Last week the Warriors picked up a 4-3 victory in Wenatchee over the Wild, and then hung on to defeat the Powell River Kings 5-4 at Royal LePage Place. Forward Mike Hardman and defenseman Wyatt Head were named BCHL’s Player of the Week honorable mentions. Hardman, 19, is tied for the league lead in game winning goals with six. Head, 19, registered seven assists in his past three games played.

It’s been a tough stretch for the Surrey Eagles losing ten of their past thirteen games. There’s a familiar face on this Eagles roster, Chase Stevenson. Stevenson, 19, spent two seasons with the West Kelowna Warriors before he was dealt last Summer to the Eagles. This will be a major homecoming for the West Kelowna native, who still has friends on the Warriors current roster. Stevenson and the Eagles look to end the streak tonight in hostile territory.

Catch tonight’s game on Mixlr and Hockey TV. Warriors Director of Broadcasting and Media Relations Chase Johnston is back on the mic with a pregame show 10 minutes before puck drop. Just a reminder that tickets are still available for tonight’s match up. Visit the Warriors website and select single game tickets for more details.
