The West Kelowna Warriors have secured four players from Saskatchewan for next season.
A trio comes from the Prince Albert Mintos (Midget AAA) to follow in the footsteps of current Warrior Matt Anholt.
The list includes:
Kylar Hope (95) is a shifty offensive gifted player that knows how to score. Hope tallied 25 goals, and 26 assists in 43 games played last year.
Warriors Head Coach/GM Rylan Ferster says Hope is one of the best players he’s watched this year. “Kylar is one of the slickest players that I have watched over the course of the year.”
Adam Osczevski (95) is a two-way player that can really skate, and he’s tough to play against. In 44 games last year Adam notched 16 goasl, and 30 assists.
“Adam is a great skater that works hard every shift,” adds Ferster. “He is a no nonsense guy that will bring a physical edge every night.”
Tanner Bugrardt (95) is a proven goalie the last two years in Midget AAA. Tanner has been among the league leaders over those two years. Last year he posted a 17-4-2 record. With a 2.03 GAA and a .919 Save Percentage.
“Tanner has just plain and simple stopped pucks the last two years; his calm demeanor in the net is exactly what we were looking for,” says Ferster.
The fourth player commitment comes for the Tisdale Trojans.
Connor Bucsis (95) is a big power forward (6’2) that has a very good offensive touch. He put up 37 points in 39 games last year for Tisdale, including 20 goals.
“Connor attended main camp last year and put together a very solid year in Tisdale,” added Ferster.
The Warrior organization would like to welcome all players and their families to West Kelowna.
All players will be in town mid-august for the beginning of Main Camp.
