POPE RANKED 67TH BY NHL

Warriors Left Wing David Pope (94) is ranked 67th overall in the final NHL draft rankings.

Pope moved up from 104th in the mid-season rankings, and is the second highest ranked BCHL player behind Adam Tambellini of Surrey.

In his second year with the Warriors the 6’3 forward tallied 17 goals, and 22 assists in 42 games. He also added 5 points in 7 playoff games.

“It’s not only great for David, but great for our program to have somebody ranked this high by the NHL,” added Rylan Ferster Warriors Head Coach/GM.  “He’s worked so hard since arriving here two years ago.  I had no doubt he would turn out to be a high end product.”

David will be attending the NHL Scouting Combine in Toronto from May 27th-June 1st, 2013.

The Warriors wish David the best of the luck in Toronto.
