The Westside Warriors took first place in the Fat Cat Children's Festival Parade over the weekend!
The Warriors decked out their two team trucks with balloons and streamers in team colours. Players, coaches, staff, family, The General and fans all dressed up in team jerseys and donned Warriors foam hats as well. The theme for the parade was “Mad Hatter.”
The Warriors were joined by two “Team Horses” as well. And don't worry, the paint on the horses was environmentally friendly…
The Warriors were happy to be part of Kelowna's biggest festival for kids and look forward to defending their first place crown next year!
