It's that time of year…
Days are getting longer, the sun is shining more and the school year is winding down.
That means one thing: Spring Fairs!
The Westside Warriors attended the Spring Fair at Rose Valley Elementary today.
Players Dru Morrison and Max French were accompanied by Stuntman Steve Francis, Team Chaplain Don Richmond and, of course, The General at the event.
Over 1000 kids enjoyed the carnival like experience. Warriors players played road hockey with several kids, posed for pictures and signed autographs on player cards they handed out.
“Any chance to get out in the community and be a part of an event like this is just awesome,” said Max French.
“We love playing hockey with all these young kids. It brings back memories of playing road hockey with my brother as a kid. This really is the grass roots of hockey!”
