West Kelowna, B.C. –  The Warriors continue their series of road games when they head into Merritt to take on the Centennials Wednesday night.

The Warriors are coming off one of the worst difficult road trips in franchise history. It started with a backbreaker of a loss against the Prince George Spruce Kings. The Warriors outplayed the Spruce Kings but Dylan Schives scored with under a minute remaining in regulation sending the Warriors back on the bus with the first loss. The next day the Warriors travelled over 15 hours on a bus to the Kootenays in preparation for their tilt with the Trail Smoke Eaters. In that game the Warriors also outshot and arguably outplayed the Smoke Eaters but it was the Smoke Eaters winning 4-0. It was a difficult road trip to say the least for the Warriors who were exhausted in their return to West Kelowna.

Wednesday January 19th @ Merritt Centennials (2-24-1): 7:00pm  (Warriors lead season series 3-0)

Tonight the Warriors head to Merritt and the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena. The Warriors dominated the Centennials last time they played in the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena with a handful of scorers on the back end. This time around they will more than likely be without top blue liner Tyson Jugnauth and forward John Evans. Jugnauth left the game in Prince George after receiving a hit in Prince George from Austin Fraser. Evans would leave the game against the Trail Smoke Eaters with an upper body injury in the 2nd period and would not return. The Warriors will need their depth players to step up Wednesday night in order to pick up a victory in Merritt.

This game broadcast will be available on BCHLTV(formally HockeyTV) and the Warriors Mixlr Radio Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena in Merritt. There are tickets available for the Warriors next home games Saturday and Sunday at westkelownawarriors.ca.
