Saturday, December 14th @ Royal LePage Place ( 6:00 PM)

The Warriors are coming off a weekend split. First it was an entertaining 2-1 victory over the number one team in the BCHL, the Salmon Arm Silverbacks. Then the Warriors would face the worst ranked club in the BCHL, the Merritt Centennials. In the game versus the Cents the Warriors would lose 5-2. It was a game where the Warriors didn’t have a lot of bounces go their way and the Cents were able to put a stranglehold on the lead in the second period with Thomas Manty goal off a Warriors turnover.

Tonight the Warriors face another Interior Division rival, the Wenatchee Wild. This will already be the 4th time these two teams meet, most recently they played a double header in Wenatchee where the Warriors picked up 3 out of 4 points. The final game between the two teams saw the Wild snap their 5 game losing streak. Since then the Wild went on their first Island Division road trip where they lost to the Alberni Valley Bulldogs but picked up big victories over the Cowichan Valley Capitals and Victoria Grizzlies. It appears this Wild team has turned a new leaf and developed some recent chemistry with all the new additions they’ve had over the past month. Warriors need to be prepared to see a better Wild team than they did 11 days ago.

This evening’s game will be broadcast on both HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr Network. Puck drop at 6:00pm from the Town Toyota Centre in Wenatchee. For tickets to any upcoming home game visit tickets.westkelownawarriors.ca for details and packages.
