NEWS: TEDDY BEAR TOSS NIGHT SET FOR DECEMBER 22ND

WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors are excited to announce their Teddy Bear Toss Night is back! This year’s Toss Night will take place Saturday December 22nd versus the Penticton Vees. The Warriors would like to courage all fans to bring any new or used Teddy Bears to the game to throw on the ice after the Warriors score their first goal of the game.  Mamas for Mamas charity once again was announced as the beneficiary who are in charge of distributing the Teddy Bears to deserving kids over the holidays. Warriors Owner Kim Dobranski cannot wait for the event, “We are very pleased to be able to support such a good charity, Mamas for Mamas does such great work in our region helping Mothers with the necessities needed to raise their kids in a dignified manner. And it’s not just about the necessities, it’s also about providing things to help bring joy to the children. This is why we are proud to support Mamas for Mamas with our teddy bear toss.”

Mamas for Mamas is a local award winning charitable organization that supports mothers in crisis, and provides ongoing support to low income Mothers and their kids. Their mission is to change the landscape of poverty through innovative approaches to financial barriers faced by struggling families.  Mamas for Mamas hosts numerous events throughout the greater Kelowna region helping families in the Central Okanagan. Saturday December 22nd will mark the final home game of 2018 for the West Kelowana Warriors. Kids 16 years old or under are free and anyone who brings a bear will receive will receive a raffle ticket for a chance to win a prize.  Visit tickets.westkelownawarriors.ca
