VERNON, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors head back up to the North Okanagan for Game #4 of the Interior Conference Quarterfinals Wednesday.
The Warriors are coming off their best performance of the playoffs with a 6-2 win inside Kal Tire Place. The return of Warriors forward Felix Trudeau was specifically noticeable with his line of Elan Bar Lev Wise, Christophe Farmer and Trudeau combining for 8 total points Monday night. Trudeau’s presence in the lineup gave the Warriors the depth and flexibility they needed to elevate them past the Vipers Monday night and then some.

Tonight the Warriors look to replicate their performance from Game #3. Simple as that. Roll 4 lines, capitalize on their chances and get stellar goaltending from Johnny Derrick. Without being asked, Warriors Head Coach & General Manager Simon Ferguson was quick to give Johnny Derrick credit as one of the best players on the ice. “We got really good goaltending from Johnny and I think he stole the show. When you have really good goaltending like that it really helps.”
Simon Ferguson stated at the beginning of the season that its important that Derrick continues to play at a high level heading into the playoffs and it’s games like he played in Game #3 he wants to see continue as the playoffs progress. If the Warriors continue to light the lamp and get the solid goaltending they should be able to take a 3-1 series lead Wednesday night.
