Yaremko to Northern Michigan

The West Kelowna Warriors would like to congratulate Rylan Yaremko on his commitment to Northern Michigan University for the 2017/2018 season.

Yaremko, a 6’3”, 200 lbs defender from Spirit River, Alberta, is in his second season with the Warriors. He has 13 goals and 21 assists in 55 games.

“I’m very excited to join Northern Michigan University’s hockey program,” said Yaremko Thursday afternoon, “I would like to thank my family, teammates, and all the previous coaches for supporting me through this process. It’s a great fit for me on and off the ice and can’t wait to put on a Wildcat jersey.”

Head Coach and General Manager Rylan Ferster says “He is a solid two-way defenseman who is hard to play against. He’s a great leader and comes to play every night.”
