The Westside Warriors are playing in their fourth exhibition game today, but the puck drops in the morning hours.
Game time is 11am as the Westside Warriors (1-0-2) welcome the Vernon Vipers.
Why are the Warriors opening their doors eight hours early?! Well, because they’ve invited over 1000 students from School District 23 to attend the game.
It’s business as usual on the ice, but off the ice it will be a fun filled afternoon appreciating our strong partnership with the local school district.
After the game all of the students will be invading the courtyard for a massive autograph session with the entire squad.
The team will be looking for redemption as Westside lost 2-1 in overtime last Friday in Vernon.
Fans, not with schools, are asked to bring a donation to the Westside Community Food Bank for entry.
The Warriors finish off the Pre-Season on the road with two more games. First, they visit the Prince George Spruce Kings this Thursday and finally the Salmon Arm Silverbacks on Friday to conclude the exhibition season.

Westside officially opens the 2011/12 BCHL Regular Season on September 30thwhen they welcome the Vernon Vipers to RLP.
Game time is 7pm, with outdoor festivities beginning at 5:30pm.
