The Westside Warriors 2010-2011 BCHL training camp begins on Monday, August 23rd and runs until Wednesday, August 25th.
Training, practice sessions and games will be held each day. The camp wraps on Wednesday with an Inter-squad Game. Game time is 5pm.
The Warriors are welcoming back twelve veterans from last year?s team including: Tyler Krause (?91), Grayson Downing (?92), Dru Morrison (?92), Max French (?92), Kyle Singleton (?90), Quinn Gould (?90), Tyler Brickler (?91), Matt Maher (?90), Izaak Berglund (?91), Peter MacIntosh (?91), Jason Nash (?91) and newly named Captain Alex Grieve (?90).
The team is also welcoming a new face to the blue line. Tom Kroshus (?92) was traded to Westside from Camrose (AJHL) on June 20th, 2010 for forward Cole Wilson (?90).
This year main camp is going to be full of intensity with only a handful of spots available for the taking. Close to 30 invitees are vying for coveted roster spots.
We encourage fans to take in all the action of training camp, and it?s absolutely free.
The Warriors first exhibition game at Royal LePage Place is Friday, August 27th at 7pm versus Penticton. The second, and final, home exhibition game is versus Merritt Wednesday, September 1st at 7pm.
