WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors light up the Wenatchee Wild by a score of 7-4 Saturday night.

The Warriors came out flying to start the hockey game received offense from unlikely sources. First after a great shift from the fourth line Damon Jugnauth would collect a pass from Tyler Cristall and score his 3rd of the season 9:51 into the first period. Only one minute later Alexi Van Houtte Cachero would take off on an odd man rush and feed Nick Roukounakis scoring his 2nd of the season and first goal since opening night of the regular season to make it 2-0 Warriors.

The Warriors would score early on the powerplay to start the second period with a goal from Felix Trudeau to make it 3-0. Midway through the period the Warriors would go back on the powerplay where Nick Ardanaz placed a shot from the point which would go off the stick of Chase Dafoe and in to make it 4-0. Then with 6:19 remaining after the Wild fail to score the Warriors blue liner Charles Alexis Legault would fire a pass to Tyler Cristall who was left all alone and would score left side of Wild goaltender Andy Vlaha and in to give the Warriors a 5-0 lead. The Wild would score a pair of goals late in the second frame to cut the Warriors lead heading into the third.

The Wild scored a powerplay goal early in the third period to make things interesting. With the Warriors nursing a 5-3 lead they would go back on the powerplay where Felix Trudeau would score his second of the game off a Cristophe Farmer pass. The Wild would add one more with a hatrick from their new rookie Parker Murray to make it 6-4. Time became the enemy for the Wild forcing them to pull the goalie with 2:30 remaining.
