TRAIL, B.C. –  The West Kelowna Warriors head out to the West Kootenays to take on the Trail Smoke Eaters Friday evening.

The Warriors are coming off a poor effort against the Wenatchee Wild. The Wild took full advantage of Warriors mistakes with one goal scored off a penalty shot and a pair of goals scored off Warriors turnovers. It was just one of those games for the Warriors who immediately moved on and wanted to focus on their next game.

Friday March 4th @ Trail Smoke Eaters (17-22-2-2):  7:00pm  (Warriors lead season series 4-1)

The Warriors will travel directly from Wenatchee and head to Trail. Last two games the Warriors have faced the Smoke Eaters were 10-5 & 8-4 respectively. During those two games the Smoke Eaters have ran into goaltending trouble with 2 or sometimes 3 goaltenders out with injury. Now starting goaltender Evan Fradette is back in the lineup. Fradette picked up a shutout the last time the Warriors played the Smoke Eaters inside Cominco Arena with a fully healthy lineup. The Warriors will be coming into this game with a chip on their shoulders after a tough night in Wenatchee. A big boost for the Warriors up front is the return of Christophe Farmer. Farmer, 20 returns to the lineup after missing Wednesday nights game. If the Warriors can stay out of the box and pick up some bounces like they did in their last two games versus the Smoke Eaters, they should have no problem winning this game.

This game broadcast will be available on BCHLTV(formally HockeyTV) and the Warriors Mixlr Radio Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Cominco Arena in Trail. There are tickets available for the Warriors next home game Saturday March 5th for Peachland Warriors Night at westkelownawarriors.ca.
