West Kelowna, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors look to rebound when they host the Prince George Spruce Kings Tuesday night.

Tuesday September 28th VS Prince George Spruce Kings: 7:00pm

The Warriors are coming off a tough 4-2 loss at the hands of the Salmon Arm Silverbacks last Saturday evening. It was a game that saw an unusually long delay and a fully stacked Salmon Arm Silverbacks roster which ultimately was the difference. The Warriors didn’t dress blue liners Nick Ardanaz and Tyson Jugnauth on the back end Saturday evening but it was an opportunity for newcomers to make an impact like Tyler Rubin. Rubin, 17, went coast to coast and scored his first goal in his first game as a Warriors. The Wayland, MA native was yet another bright spot in what is a talented Warriors back end heading into this season.

Tonight the Warriors will tinker the roster once again when the Prince George Spruce Kings come to town. The Warriors are expected to bring back in a total 16 returning players which currently sits atop the most in the BCHL with this Prince George Spruce Kings team. The Spruce Kings are so comfortable with their returning roster, they’ve already named their leadership core led by Captain Kolton Cousins. The Warriors look to name a leadership core after the preseason concludes.

Puck drop for the Warriors on Tuesday will be 7:00pm versus the Spruce Kings from Royal LePage Place. Tickets for this game are general admission and only $10 each. All Warriors preseason games will be broadcast on HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr internet radio feed. Season Tickets and Single Game Tickets are now available online or direct from the Warriors office. For more info visit the Warriors website or call (250)769-7051.
