WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The Warriors head back home to Royal LePage Place to host the Trail Smoke Eaters Saturday.

The Warriors are coming off a tough loss on the road to the Merritt Centennials Friday night. It was a game that saw the Warriors take their foot off the gas pedal in the second and third period, allowing the Cents to storm back scoring 3 unanswered goals to end it 4-2. It was a similar game to last Sunday where the Warriors lost a two goal lead to the Victoria Grizzlies who would eventually win in overtime. Tonight the Warriors are hosting the Trail Smoke Eaters, who have yet to pick up their first victory of the season. The schedule gods haven’t been friendly to the Smoke Eaters, who’ve had to face the likes of the Penticton Vees, Salmon Arm Silverbacks, Powell River Kings and Wenatchee Wild who are arguably the top 5 clubs in the BCHL. The Warriors need to be aware the Smoke Eaters are more motivated than ever to pick up their first win of the season tonight.
