WEST KELOWNA, B.C. –  The West Kelowna Warriors return home to take on the Merritt Centennials in the regular season finale.

The Warriors are coming off a massive win over the league’s number one team, the Penticton Vees. The Vees pushed the Warriors to the edge after they tied the game up at 3 and forced overtime but Tyler Cristall had other plans scoring his 2nd of the game in the extra frame to give the Warriors their first victory in Penticton since October 2018. The victory would also give the Warriors their first ever season series win over the Vees in franchise history. For the Warriors it would also be their 9th straight victory which would also be a franchise record.

Saturday March 26th @ Merritt Centennials (3-45-2-2):  7:00pm  (Warriors lead season series 6-0)

For the final time this season the Warriors host the Merritt Centennials. This game tonight could see a different looking roster with Simon Ferguson more than likely resting his top players heading into the playoffs. Forward Kailus Green was a healthy scratch on Friday night and will more than likely be one of many AP’s getting the call to play the Centennials. The Warriors are once again on record watch with Tyson Jugnauth one point away from tying Justin Schultz for 2nd most assists in a single season for a defenseman. Jugnauth’s two assists Friday night allowed him to take the most assists in a single season record which was set by Brendan Ellis in the 2009/2010 season. The Warriors will want a strong finish to the regular season to keep their momentum heading into the playoffs. Individual player awards will be handed out following the game.

This game broadcast will be available on BCHLTV(formally HockeyTV) and the Warriors Mixlr Radio Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna. Tickets available at Westkelownawarriors.ca
