WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The Warriors(4-16-3-2) look to snap their eight game losing streak when they play the Surrey Eagles(8-14-1-3) Wednesday night.

Warriors vs. Eagles 2019/20 Regular Season Schedule:

Wednesday, November 20th @ South Surrey Arena (7:30 PM)

Friday, January 17th @ Royal LePage Place (7:00 PM)

The Warriors are coming off yet another tough loss to the Prince George Spruce Kings. It was a game where the Warriors were able to keep up with the Spruce Kings, but after a couple late period goals allowed in the second period, the momentum was on the Spruce Kings side for the remainder of the game. The Warriors would allow a goal in the final minute of the first period, a pair of goals in the final two minutes of the second, and a pair of goals in the final 4 minutes of the third period.

Tonight the Warriors head to Surrey for a clash with the Eagles, another club that’s had an up and down season. With a new Head Coach in Cam Keith, the Surrey Eagles are a much different looking team compared to last season. They have a solid unit up front with former Salmon Arm Silverback Hudson Schandor as their number one centre and Captain, second year forward Brandon Santa Juana, and leading scorer Holden Katzalay. The trio have combined for a point a game average this year, and managed to show resilience scoring key goals late in games. The Warriors need to be mindful of the scoring power up front and make sure they score first. During the eight game losing streak, the Warriors have allowed the first goal.

This evening’s game will be broadcast on both HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr Network. Puck drop at 7:30pm from the South Surrey Arena. For tickets to any upcoming home game visit tickets.westkelownawarriors.ca for details and packages.
