WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The Warriors head to the Nicola Valley Memorial Arena for a tilt with the Merritt Centennials Friday night.

For the first time this season the Warriors out shot their opponents but couldn’t pick up the victory after suffering a 3-2 overtime loss to the Victoria Grizzlies last Sunday afternoon. It was a game where the Warriors had a 2-0 lead midway through the hockey game. Warriors also couldn’t cash in on the man advantage going 0/4 after a perfect 3/3 in Langley last Friday night. Warriors Head Coach and General Manager Brandon West got a boost on the scoring front adding former Salmon Arm Silverbacks forward Trevor Adams Thursday. The Muskegon, Michigan native would tally 44 points in 60 games played with the Silverbacks last season. “Trevor adds veteran experience to our group” stated Warriors Head Coach and General Manager Brandon West. “He’s a tenacious player that can contribute to our offense with his skill. We’re excited to add Trevor to our lineup”.
The Warriors need to be prepared to take on a motivated Merritt Centennials squad who are looking to pick up their first victory of the season. The Cents also added a couple big pieces on the Kamloops native Tyson Galloway and Delisle, SK native Jerzy Orchard. Both were cut from their WHL camps and are expected to suit up for the Centennials tonight.
