West Kelowna, B.C. –  The Warriors host the Merritt Centennials Friday evening.

The Warriors are coming off a 7-1 thumping of the Centennials in Merritt. It didn’t start well for the Warriors with the Cents scoring the first goal, but with some puck luck late in the 1st period the Warrior were able to score a pair of goals in the final 93 seconds of the period and didn’t look back the rest of the game adding 5 more to defeat the Centennials. The new look line of Cristophe Farmer, Chase Dafoe and Alexi Van Houtte-Cachero connected a handful of times leading to Farmer registering a 3 point night.

Friday February 11th @ Merritt Centennials (2-33-1-1): 7:00pm  (Warriors lead season series 5-0)

Tonight the Centennials travel to West Kelowna. The Warriors will likely run a similar lineup they did last Tuesday with players like Marcus Joughin, Isaiah Norlin and Pat Lawn expected to sit out one more game before the Warriors have a tough three game in three night stretch the next week. The Warriors just need to simply focus on cleaning up their play in their own zone and not turning over the puck like they did in the first period of Tuesday nights game.

This game broadcast will be available on BCHLTV(formally HockeyTV) and the Warriors Mixlr Radio Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from the Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna. There are tickets available for the Warriors next home games Saturday and Sunday at westkelownawarriors.ca.
