The West Kelowna Warriors would like to announce this year’s annual Teddy Bear Toss will be held on Friday, December 16th vs. the Powell River Kings.
Fans are encouraged to bring new or gently used stuffed animals to throw out on the ice after the Warriors first goal is scored on Friday night. The stuffies will be donated to the Kelowna Santas, who are extremely excited to join on with the Warriors for this event this season. The Santas will help distribute the stuffed bears throughout the communities of West Kelowna and Kelowna for the less fortunate.
“It’s one of the most fun-filled nights of the season,” said Warriors Director of Business and Marketing Alex Draper, “and to have the Kelowna Santas on board with us to help out is fantastic. A big crowd is expected so it’s definitely one of those nights to look forward to.”
The puck drops at 7:00 PM from Royal LePage Place with tickets available for purchase at the Warriors office and by calling Kim at (250) 769-7051. It’ll be a great, fun night from RLP and we hope that you join us for all the fun!
