WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club are excited to announce the commitment of blue liner Nolan Joyce (‘03) for the 2022-23 season.
The Dedham, Mass native had another great year with 14 goals and 24 assists in 25 games played with St Sebastian’s School (USHS-Prep) this season. “We are very excited for Nolan to join the Warriors family,” said Warriors General Manager & Head Coach Simon Ferguson. “Nolan understands the game at a high level. He can play in all situations, is very deceptive with the puck and is an elite passer with a high end shot.
Nolan Joyce is committed to Boston College (NCAA). Nolan Joyce is the younger brother of Warriors alumni Connor Joyce. “I am extremely happy to be playing next year in West Kelowna. After discussions with my brother Connor, Coach Simon Ferguson & Owner John Murphy I knew it would be a great fit for my game,” said Joyce. “I am a two way defenseman who takes priority in the defensive zone but can generate offense when needed.”
Joyce joins multiple new recruits for next season including forwards Jaiden Moriello and Felix Caron.
The Playoffs begin Friday April 1st when the Warriors host the Vernon Vipers. Puck drop from 7pm from the Royal LePage Place in West Kelowna. Tickets available at westkelownawarriors.ca. Catch the broadcast live on BCHLTV (formally HockeyTV) or stream the game live for free on the Warriors Radio Network (Mixlr).
