The Westside Warriors visited Rose Valley Elementary this week and helped spread the Hockeyville Spirit!
Hundreds of students packed the gymnasium eager for a Kraft Hockeyville/Warriors Assembly.
Reid Simmonds, Josh Monk, James Leonard, and Garret Skrbich were accompanied by Hockeyville Committee Members Stuntman Steve Francis, Andrew Deans, and Mike Schell.
The General even interrupted his busy schedule and made an appearance!
The assembly was not mandatory, but over 250 enthusiastic student listened to the players and committee members talk about Kraft Hockeyville.
The Hockeyville Committee reminded the students of the importance of entering their stories and pictures on the Kraft Hockeyville wesbite (http://krafthockeyville.cbc.ca) and of course under Royal LePage Place.
The Warriors played hockey for the rest of the day with the students. Then Principal McEwen arranged a school picture with the players and Hockeyville Committee!
