Who’s Hot:

West Kelowna:

  • Cal Hughes – Forward – Westwood, Massachusetts – Boston University

Factoring in on two of the three goals the Warriors scored on Friday night against Penticton, Hughes has been a solid point producer for West Kelowna, especially in the second half of the season. The BU commit has registered a point in 12 of the 20 games since the calendar turned to 2024 while 6 of those games have been multi-point affairs.

  • Jack Pridham – Forward – Stouffville, Ontario – Boston University

Another BU commit, Pridham has found the back of the net with regularity as he rides a three-game goal scoring streak into Friday night’s action against Trail. The Stouffville, Ontario native has points in each of his last five games, scoring 4 goals while adding an assist for 5 points in that span with Pridham having scored in 7 of his last 12 games.

Trail:

  • Ridge Dawson – Forward – Kelowna, BC

He seems to have his best games against the Warriors but Dawson has put together a strong stretch of play to close out February and into early March. The Kelowna, BC native has posted 7 goals and 7 assists for 14 points in his last 11 games, including 3 goals and an assist in his last 2 games against West Kelowna.

  • Christian Kim – Forward – Torrance, California

Three games shy of 100 in his BCHL career, Kim has found a recent goal scoring surge in March that has seen the second-year forward register goals in three of his last four games and points in five of his last six contests. The Torrance, California native has posted 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points in that five-game span.

The Warriors and Smoke Eaters play in the final game of their six-game season series on Friday night at Cominco Arena in the West Kootenays. Puck drop is set for 7:00 PM with the game being broadcasted live on AM 1150 as well as streamed live on FloHockey.
