Who’s Hot:

West Kelowna:

  • Jack Farrell – Defenseman – Wilmington, Massachusetts – Bentley University

The back end of the Warriors has started to see production occur, even without top scoring d-man Isaiah Norlin last weekend and Farrell is a player who spearheaded that. The Bentley University commit has tallied points in each of his last three games, posting four assists in that time including a two-assist contest against the Centennials in Merritt on Friday.

  • Michael Salandra – Forward – Pleasantville, New York

20-year-old Salandra has been consistently putting together strong offensive efforts over the past few weeks and enters play on Saturday with points in five of his last six games. During that stretch of time, the Pleasantville, New York native has registered a goal and seven assists for eight points in that span.

Trail:

  • Adam Marshall – Forward – Wayzata, Minnesota – Army West Point

Leading the Smoke Eaters balanced attack in scoring, Marshall has earned 11 goals and 21 points in 25 games played and is riding a stretch of points in five of his last six games as well. The Army commit has registered 4 goals and 4 assists for 8 points during that time which includes a three-point effort against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks last Friday.

  • Adam Barone – Defenseman – Sault Ste. Marie, Ontario – Lake Superior State University

Sitting in a tie for 6th in scoring amongst defenders in the BCHL this season, Barone has added a terrific element of scoring from the blue line. The Lake Superior State commit has compiled 5 goals and 20 points in 25 games this season while earning points in six of his last seven games, garnering 2 goals and 7 assists for 9 points in that stretch. Barone comes into Saturday’s game with each of his last two contests featuring a goal and an assist.

The Warriors and Smoke Eaters meet for the second of their six-game season series tonight at Royal LePage Place. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM with tickets available at the Warriors website or in-person at the Box Office ahead of the opening face-off.
