Who’s Hot:

West Kelowna:

  • Jackson Kyrkostas – Forward – West Palm Beach, Florida – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)

Tallying his second hat trick of the season on Sunday afternoon, Kyrkostas has vaulted his way to a tie for 7th in the league in goal scoring with his 13 markers while teammate Felix Caron is tied for the league lead at 16. The RPI commit has points in each of his last three games, earning four goals and an assist in that span.

  • Jack Pridham – Forward – Stouffville, Ontario – Boston University

Points in four consecutive games, and four out of his last five, have Pridham in a solid place coming into the final week ahead of the holiday break. The BU commit has two goals and four assists over his four-game point streak, including a three-point contest last Saturday against the Trail Smoke Eaters.

Salmon Arm:

  • Eli Pulver – Goaltender – Vancouver, BC

Fresh off of being the BCHL’s 1st Star of the Week, Pulver made 65 saves on 66 shots in back-to-back wins over the Penticton Vees before turning aside 28 of the 30 shots he faced in the victory over the Vipers on Tuesday. Over his last three games, the Vancouver, BC native has posted a 1.00 goals against average and a .969 save percentage.

  • Home Sweet Home

The Silverbacks have made the Shaw Centre one of the toughest buildings to play in in the league, posting a 10-1-0-0 record on home ice and have won each of their last three games in Salmon Arm. The ‘Backs have given up a league-low 21 goals against at home with only a Vernon Vipers visit on November 18th as the only time a road team has scored more than three goals.

The Warriors and Silverbacks meet for the fifth of their six-game season series tonight at the Shaw Centre. Puck drop is slated for 6:00 PM with the game broadcasted live on AM 1150 as well as streamed online on FloHockey.
