This is the first of two preseason contests between the Warriors and Vees, who have found themselves pinned against each other in exhibition battle each season. Penticton defeated West Kelowna in each of the two preseason showdowns from a season ago before winning four of the six matchups in the 2017/18 season series.

The lineups for tonight consist mostly of young prospects with the Warriors featuring committed players such as Sam Anderson, Cole Wyatt, Mason Richey and James Philpott, who will done the Warriors crest for the first time. The Vees lineup will feature many players from the Anaheim Jr. Ducks U18 program, who are visiting the Okanagan for the week but will have committed players such as Matthew Byrne, Henri Schreifels and Trevor Isaksson taking part in the game.

Tickets for tonight’s preseason game can be purchased at the door at Royal LePage Place ahead of the 7:00 PM opening puck drop and is the first of three Warriors preseason games held at RLP. The game will not be broadcasted but fans can follow along on the Warriors Twitter account HERE. West Kelowna is back in action on Friday night as they host the Salmon Arm Silverbacks for the first of a preseason home-and-home set.
