The Wild lead the BCHL with 230 goals for this season and will likely finish in that top spot to end the year as they are 22 goals ahead of the Victoria Grizzlies for the number one position and have been helped in large part by the league’s leading scorer Jasper Weatherby. The University of North Dakota commit has scored 37 goals along with 72 points and would mark the second straight season that a player from the Wild would lead the BCHL in scoring with Brendan Harris’ 98 points leading the way a season ago.

One player that is closing in on Weatherby’s league lead in points is a teammate in the likes of defenseman Cooper Zech. The South Lyon, Missouri native leads the BCHL with 54 assists and currently sits in a tie for 5th place in the league in scoring with his 65 points. The Ferris State commit would be the highest scoring defenseman in the league since Mike Reilly during the 2011/12 season where he had 83 points for the Penticton Vees.

Seth Eisele has started the last 11 games for the Wild and has helped the team to an 8-3-0-0 record in that time. The Lake Elmo, Minnesota native has posted a 2.33 GAA and a .903 SV% during that stretch of time with help from the Wild defense as Wenatchee has not allowed more than 30 shots in a game since January 26th against Merritt, a span of nine games.
