Who’s Hot:

West Kelowna:

  • Jackson Kyrkostas – Forward – West Palm Beach, Florida – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)

Becoming the fourth player on the Warriors roster this season to score 20 or more goals, Kyrkostas has found his goal scoring prowess once again. After going eight games without a goal, the RPI commit has scored in each of his last three games and earned points in four of his last five contests. The four 20+ goal scorers on the Warriors roster is the most of any team in the BCHL with eight teams having yet to possess a 20-goal scorer.

  • Felix Caron – Forward – Terrebonne, Quebec – Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI)

With 80 points in 81 career games, Caron has been a constant presence over his BCHL career when it comes to producing points and this season has been no different, entering play on the weekend ranked third in the league in points with 56 on the year and 2nd in the league in goals at 27. Caron has points in five of his last six games and points in three consecutive contests, scoring two goals and adding three assists for five points in that span.

Trail:

  • Ridge Dawson – Forward – Kelowna, BC

Playing in his third season with over 100 career games amassed in Trail, Dawson provides scoring with plenty of sandpaper in his game and just had a four-game point streak snapped on Sunday against the Vees. The Kelowna, BC native scored four goals and added an assist for five points in that span. Dawson has had plenty of success against the Warriors this season as the forward has scored three goals and added an assist for four points in four games against West Kelowna including a pair of goals in the teams’ last meeting on February 10th.

  • Chase Stefanek – Forward – Yorba Linda, California – Harvard University

The 17-year-old has produced solidly since returning to Trail from the holiday break, amassing 7 goals and 7 assists for 14 points in 16 games during that stretch that began on December 30th. A commit of Harvard University, Stefanek has points in five of his last six games, registering 4 goals and an assist in that span while scoring in four of those six contests.

The Warriors and Smoke Eaters meet for the fifth of their six meetings in the two teams season series with puck drop slated for 7:00 PM at Royal LePage Place. Tickets are available for purchase online at the Warriors website or at the Box Office, which opens one hour ahead of the opening face-off.
