Who’s Hot:

West Kelowna:

  • Michael Salandra – Forward – Pleasantville, New York – Quinnipiac University

He just keeps scoring and getting points. Salandra was part of a dominant attack in Merritt a night ago in which the Warriors took home an 8-3 victory. The Quinnipiac University commit extended his point streak to nine games with a two-goal, two-assist performance and has amassed 8 goals and 7 assists for 15 points during that span while also scoring in each of his last four games.

  • Cal Hughes – Forward – Westwood, Massachusetts – Boston University

Lost in the shuffle of some big multi-point performances last night was a solid outing from Hughes, who now has goals in three of his last four games to pace a Warriors team that is tied for the league lead in scoring. The BU commit has points in six of his last seven games, posting five goals and five assists for ten points over that span and ranks 4th in rookie goal scoring with his 16 markers.

Chilliwack:

  • Brady Milburn – Forward – Kamloops, BC – Lake Superior State University

In his third season in the BCHL, Milburn is putting together his best offensive season to date, exceeding his point total from last season with two goals In last night’s win in Penticton. The Lake Superior State commit was named a BCHL All-Star and has scored in back-to-back games, riding a three-game point streak with three goals and two assists for five points in that span.

  • Willyam Gendron – Forward – Boisbrand, Quebec – Sacred Heart University

The Chiefs beefed up their offensive attack with a trade for the Nanaimo Clippers leading scorer in Gendron, who made his Chilliwack debut last night in Penticton. The Sacred Heart commit is in his second BCHL season and has 70 points in 76 games played over his time in Nanaimo and this season has earned 34 points in 32 games.

The Warriors and Chiefs will get together in their one and only meeting of the season tonight with West Kelowna’s special Peachland Warriors jerseys available for auction throughout the game. Puck drop is slated for 7:00 PM with tickets available for purchase on the Warriors website as well as at the Box Office, open one hour before the opening puck drop.
