TRAIL, B.C. –  The Warriors conclude their cross province road trip in the Kootenays to take on the Trail Smoke Eaters Friday night.

The Warriors are coming off a tough 3-1 loss to the Prince George Spruce Kings. It was a game that was expected to go into overtime but Spruce Kings Dylan Schives would go coast to coast and score the game winning goal with under a minute remaining in regulation. It was one of those games that the Warriors wanted to forget, especially with a couple players leaving with injuries. Both Tyson Jugnauth and Brennan Nelson would leave the game with upper body injuries

Friday January 14th @ Trail Smoke Eaters (12-12-1): 7:00pm  (Warriors lead season series 2-0)

Tonight the Warriors play in Trail for the third time this season. The Smoke Eaters have made some moves at the trade deadline including acquiring goaltender Cole Tisdale, forward Nic Remissong and blue liners Kabore Dunn & Joshua Orrico last weekend. All players are expected to make their Smoke Eaters debut’s Friday night. The Warriors have had success against the Smoke Eaters in the past but with this new look roster, it could give the edge the Smoke Eaters need to pick up their first win of the season over the Warriors.

This game broadcast will be available on BCHL TV and the Warriors Mixlr Radio Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from Cominco Arena in Trail.
