WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – Today, the BC Hockey League (BCHL) confirmed the five pod locations for the 2020-21 season, which will be played in five communities throughout the province.
Each pod will consist of three to four teams who will play each other in a single location for the five-week season. The Warriors will play a total of 20 games in the North Okanagan Pod hosted inside Kal Tire Place, playing 10 games each versus the Salmon Arm Silverbacks and Vernon Vipers.
Warriors President Chris Laurie is excited to finally drop the puck on the 2021 Season. “It’s been a long wait for our players and staff. We look forward to competition against two highly-competitive clubs”.
The Warriors had some success against their divisional foes last Fall, going 3-1 against the Salmon Arm Silverbacks & 4-1 against the Vernon Vipers during the Okanagan Cup Tournament.
