The Westside Warriors went undefeated at the annual Schmockey Cup in Peachland this Sunday and claimed their 3rd Schmockey Cup Championship!
(Previously won in '08 and '10)
The Warriors won the Championship Game versus the Peachland Fire Department, a rematch of the 2010 final, 3-0 with Dustin Cave picking up the shutout.
Josh Monk, Dwayne Rodrigue and Captain Max French all scored for the Tribe.
"I grew up in Peachland and this is a great event that's been happening for almost 10 years now," says Warriors Captain Max French. "This is the second time I've been able to play and it's always a blast. The organizers do a great job. Thankfully there was good weather, and the dodgeballs were going in the right net!"
Schmockey is essentially hockey played on a field with a dodgeball.
10 Warriors players came out and were in high spirits after losing a close battle to the Vees the night before.
