The West Kelowna Warriors will hit the road to Estevan, Saskatachewan from April 30th to May 8th and will look to earn a berth in the Royal Bank Cup National Junior A Hockey Championship.
Tournament Packages are still on sale for the event, giving fans the same great seat for all 13 tournament games for just $250.
Single-game tickets will go on sale at 9 AM (Pacific) Wednesday and are available at www.estevanbruins.showare.com
The Warriors schedule for the event is as follows: (all times local; BC +1 hour)
Saturday April 30th – 7 PM vs. Estevan (Host)
Sunday May 1st – 2 PM vs. Brooks (AJHL)
Tuesday May 3rd – 2 PM vs. Portage (MJHL)
Thursday May 5th – 2 PM vs. Melfort (SJHL)
The WCC uses a unique playoff format similar to major curling events called a Page Playoff. On Saturday May 7th at 2 PM, the 3rd and 4th place teams will play for a spot in Sunday’s RBC Qualifier game, while the 1st and 2nd place teams will play for the WCC Championship at 7 PM that night.
The winner of the Western Canada Cup will be the West #1 representative at the Royal Bank Cup, while the loser plays in the RBC Qualifier game on Sunday as well. The winner of that game advances as West #2 to the RBC Cup.
