NEWS: Foreman Named BCHL Player Of The Week

The West Kelowna Warriors would like to congratulate forward Quin Foreman, who was named the BCHL Player of the Week, the league announced Monday night.

Foreman, 20, collected an impressive five goals at the Bauer BCHL Showcase held in Chilliwack this past week from September 21st to the 25th. Quin and the Warriors opened the Showcase with a 5-2 win against the host Chiefs where the Norwood, Mass. native tallied a hat trick only to be followed up by a two-goal performance the very next day against the Coquitlam Express in a 5-3 Warrior victory.

The Dartmouth University commit now leads the BCHL in goals with seven and currently sits in 3rd in the league in points with 10 through just five games.

“ It’s great to see Quin have success,” said Warriors head coach and general manager Rylan Ferster on his play through the first five games of the regular season, “He ended up being a big part of our team last year. And has come back and not only elevated his game but emerged as real leader for us as well.
