Westside Warrior Justin Schultz took home the Top Defenceman award in the BCHL's Interior Conference. Schultz, a highly-ranked prospect for this year's NHL Draft, posted 40 points in 57 games this season and made life difficult for opposition forwards with his speed and poise with the puck.
Schultz has gained a ton of experience over the season competing in the BCHL AllStar Game and the World Junior 'A' Challenge. Schultz also racked up 8 points in 11 playoff games this season.
Warriors Head Coach Mark Howell was runner up for Coach of the Year Award in the Interior Conference as the honours went to Fred Harbinson of the Penticton Vees.
