NEWS: WARRIORS ACQUIRE MICHEAL SALANDRA

WEST KELOWNA B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors Junior ‘A’ Hockey Club have acquired forward Michael Salandra (‘03) from the Danbury Jr Hatricks(NAHL).

Salandra is coming off a solid rookie campaign with the Danbury Jr Hatricks (NAHL) last season where he registered 14 goals and 20 assists. “We are looking forward to having Michael in West Kelowna,” said Warriors General Manager & Head Coach Simon Ferguson. “Michael is an extremely smart player who plays the game with poise and great puck control. Michael is a 200ft player who has the ability to be a leader offensively”.

The Pleasantville, NY native is looking forward to competing in the BCHL. “It feels awesome to commit to the Warriors” said Salandra. “I’m excited to get started. I’m looking forward to playing with and against some great players.”

Salandra joins multiple new recruits for next season including defenceman Matt Fusco, Nolan Hayes, Bobby May and forwards Jake Bernadet, Kailus Green, Matthew Lee, Luke Devlin, Ben MacDonald, Jaiden Moriello and Felix Caron.
