NEWS: Warriors Add Scoring Duo In Sadowski and LeDrew For 2024/25 Season

WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors Junior Hockey Club are pleased to announce the commitments of a pair of forwards in Jack Sadowski (’06) and Sam LeDrew (’05) to the team for the 2024/25 season.

Both of Sadowski and LeDrew play their prep hockey at Kimball Union Academy and have some experience with a Warriors forward already as the two suited up on the same line as current West Kelowna forward Jackson Kyrkostas a season ago during his time at KUA.

“We are extremely excited to announce the commitments of Jack and Sam,” stated Warriors General Manager and Head Coach Simon Ferguson, “Both are top goal scorers in their league and we expect them to have the ability to come in and be difference makers in West Kelowna.”

Sadowski, 17, currently leads the nation in points at the prep division, scoring 35 goals and adding 33 assists for 68 points in just 29 games played at Kimball Union this season. The Arlington, Massachusetts native is a commit of the University of New Hampshire and is ranked 193rd by NHL Central Scouting ahead of the 2024 NHL Entry Draft.

“I’m excited for this opportunity,” commented Sadowski, “I can’t wait to be a part of the West Kelowna Warriors organization.”

LeDrew, 18, plays alongside Sadowski and ranks 4th in scoring amongst players at the prep hockey level, gathering 28 goals and 30 assists for 58 points in only 22 games played this campaign. A product of Stillwater Lake, Nova Scotia, LeDrew has secured a commitment to St. Lawrence University.

“I am extremely excited to join the West Kelowna Warriors,” mentioned LeDrew, “I look forward to contributing to the team’s success.”
