Warriors Acquire Forward Kyle Greene, & Trade Jack Sadowski to Spruce Grove

The West Kelowna Warriors have announced a roster transaction, trading forward Jack Sadowski to the Spruce Grove Saints in exchange for future considerations. In a corresponding move, the Warriors are pleased to acquire forward Kyle Greene (’06, Newfoundland) to the organization.

Sadowski, 19, suited up for 21 games in West Kelowna across two seasons, collecting 1 goal and 12 assists for 13 points. He also earned junior experience in the USHL with the Cedar Rapids Rough Riders and built an impressive prep career at Kimball Union Academy. “We would to thank Jack for his contributions and wish him the best as he continues his junior career.” said GM & HC Simon Ferguson.

In a corresponding move, the Warriors and forward Kyle Greene, a 6’0” native of Newfoundland with a strong development background in both U.S. prep and AAA hockey programs. Greene most recently skated with the Cape Cod Whalers 18U AAA and Milton Academy (USHS-Prep) during the 2024–25 season, where he combined for 14 goals and 41 assists across 51 games.

Greene’s prior seasons highlight his steady offensive growth and commitment to his craft. He posted 12 points in 28 games with Milton Academy during the 2023–24 campaign, added 27 points in 59 games with the Bishop Kearney Selects 16U AAA team in 2022–23, and developed further through programs such as the Boston Hockey Academy and TriCom Thunder at the U15 level. “Kyle is a classic late bloomer and we feel that his skating speed and vision will be an asset to the group moving forward.” said GM & HC Simon Ferguson

Greene will officially join the Warriors ahead of the team’s third game of the season, set for Friday, September 26th, 2025, at Royal LePage Place with puck drop at 7:00 PM.
