Roster Update: Warriors Acquire Forward Natan Ethier
The West Kelowna Warriors have acquired forward Natan Ethier (’05) from the Saint John Sea Dogs of the QMJHL. The 6’1” left winger from Rosemère, Quebec will suit up for West Kelowna as the Warriors face the Brooks Bandits in back-to-back home games this week — Tonight, October 31st, and November 1st at Royal LePage Place.
Ethier developed through the Quebec minor hockey system, beginning with the Mille-Îles Seigneurs Bantam AAA program, where he posted 37 points in 30 games during the 2018–19 season. He later joined the Saint-Eustache Vikings (QM18AAA), adding 34 points in 21 games before moving on to the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League.
Over three seasons in the QMJHL, Ethier appeared in more than 170 games between the Shawinigan Cataractes and Saint John Sea Dogs, recording 25 goals and 47 assists for 72 points. His experience at the major junior level and ability to create offensively add depth to the Warriors’ forward group as the team continues through its BCHL campaign.
