RECAP: WARRIORS PERFECT ON PEACHLAND NIGHT

WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The Peachland Warriors topped the Prince George Spruce Kings on the first annual Peachland Warriors night with a final score of 5-0. Justin Katz picked up his second career shutout.

The Warriors came out fast and furious during the first period. The only goal of the first came from none other than Peachland resident Chase Dafoe, finding the back of the net at 8:36. Shots in the first were 11-6 Warriors.

The second saw just only one goal, coming from the Warriors. Elan Bar-Lev-Wise found the back of the net on the power play at 18:39. Shots were 16-6 Spruce Kings.

The Warriors came flying out in the third period. Just 1:03, John Evans put the Warriors up 3-0. At 12:26, Tyler Cristall put the Warriors up 4-0. The final goal of the game went to the Warriors, with Christophe Farmer scoring on the power play at 18:56.

The Warriors went 2/3 and the Spruce Kings went 0/5.

Final shots: 36-30 Spruce Kings.
