CHILLIWACK B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors show off their offensive muscle Friday night defeating the Chilliwack Chiefs by a score of 9-7.

The first period was a goal scoring frenzy with the Warriors scoring 5 and the Chiefs scoring 4. For the Warriors it was Luke Devlin who showed off his skill early scoring 3 points in the opening frame. Forwards Felix Caron, Jake Bernadet and Brennan Nelson also added goals making it 5-4 after one.

Jake Bernadet found a way to score his 2nd of the night off a beautiful passing play between linemates Felix Caron and Matthew Lee to tie the game at six heading into the 3rd period.

The Warriors would be the better team in the final frame with a pair of goals scored by Seattle Kraken prospect Ben MacDonald on the powerplay to take a 9-7 lead.

FINAL SHOTS: 27-25 Warriors.
