WEST KELOWNA, B.C. – The West Kelowna Warriors (7-24-5-2) conclude the season series with the Chilliwack Chiefs (18-12-5-4) Saturday night.

Warriors vs. Chiefs 2019/20 Regular Season Schedule:

Tuesday, December 17th @ Royal LePage Place (7:00 PM) 4-3 WIN OT

Saturday, January 4th @ Chilliwack Coliseum (7:00 PM)

The Warriors are coming off a tough loss to the Coquitlam Express Friday. It was a game where the Warriors were able to get off to a 1-0 lead after the first period of play. For the remainder of the game the Express would take advantage on special teams scoring 3 out of 4 goals on the power play leading to a 4-3 victory. For new Head Coach Simon Ferguson, it was a great effort versus the number one team in the BCHL but he knows his team needs to be better on special teams.

Tonight the Warriors head to Chilliwack to take on the Chiefs. The Chiefs are more motivated than ever for a win for multiple reasons. The Chiefs have lost 5 straight games, most recently a 3-1 loss to the Surrey Eagles. The Chiefs have also lost to the Warriors three weeks ago. The Chiefs were holding onto a 3-2 lead in the third but got themselves in penalty trouble allowing the Warriors to come back and win it in overtime. It was a frustrating loss for the Chiefs, who felt like the win was stolen away. Tonight the Warriors need to expect the Chilliwack Chiefs will be at their best.

This evening’s game will be broadcast on both HockeyTV and the Warriors Mixlr Network. Puck drop at 7:00pm from the Chilliwack Coliseum. For tickets to any upcoming home game visit tickets.westkelownawarriors.ca for details and packages.
